Ultimately the earth could no longer supply the raw materials needed for man's agriculture, industry, or medicines, and as shortage of supply caused the collapse of one structure after another. His whole complex and interlocking social and technological edifice crumbled. Man, no longer able to adapt, rushed uncontrollably towards his inevitable extinction. With dominant life form gone the animal world entered a period of evolutionary chaos that lasted tens of thousands of years. However man's extinction provided the impetus for many new species of animals and his disappearance was of fundamental importance in shaping the world that has emerged 50 million years hence. The person who kept this piece of paper because that person thought it was interesting or insightful was not me. That person told me that grades 7, 8, and 9 were called "junior high", which was not high school, in her day. Grades 7-9 are called "middle school" nowadays (in the 2000s and 2010s). In her day 10th grade was the start of high school. She told me she started high school in the end of August/first of September 1981, and graduated high school in December 1982. I think she (a person who lived in the United States for all of her life, excluding one or more very short vacations to Mexico) told me she had all the credits to graduate, so she didn't have to take the last year of high school. She (a US citizen for all of her life) told me that she went to college from January 1985 to the fall semester of 1987, but one might add or subtract one or two to the years in such a way that the later year minus the earlier year equals two to four and one might get the correct date range; she told me she wasn't sure about the exact year she started and ended her time in college. She told me this paper came from somewhere in the context of an English Composition 141 class as she still had a paper written by another student who was in that same class.
